Wasting Time.
You know, if being a Senior wasn’t such a big deal, I probably would have graduated a semester early in December. If I did that, I wouldn’t get to go to the prom – like I’m going to miss that! But it’s just stupid because right now I’ve got maybe two academic classes: AP English and Geography. Geography doesn’t even really count, does it? But aside from that, all I have are electives: Home Economics 2, Ceramics, Study Skills. If I could get permission to have late arrival and early dismissal, I would, but I can’t. So instead, I have to take all these electives during the time that I probably could be spending getting a job or something. Ugh.
I spent the weekend at UW, making friends with anyone I could get to stop and talk to me. There were two girls, Tanya and Zoe, who were freshmen. They invited me to go to a party at Theta Chi. They didn’t even know that I wasn’t a freshman, too! It was a lot of fun, and I’ve gotta say it no matter how dumb it sounds – two words: COLLEGE. GUYS.
